Read on for some of our favorite places to shop in town. We hope you’re able to visit them all in person, but if not, most are able to ship anywhere in the country. CLOTHING

Current Vintage (4 Easy Street). This is the place to come for vintage clothing, home goods, and wine, all under one roof.      

Sue Sartor (Available at The Skinny Dip, 23 Old South Wharf). Sue Sartor makes beautifully chic, handmade kaftans, hostess dresses, and more, that are vacation-ready. 

Grace Geier (16 Straight Wharf). Inspired by coastal fashion fit for the summer time, scoop up everything from gowns for a special event to denim and day dresses. 

Wheat Boutique (5 South Water Street). The Wheat Collection combines the chic, carefree look of the West Coast with classic East Coast sophistication to create a line that is the epitome of chic.

Milly & Grace (2 Washington Street). A darling ivy covered shop offering women’s clothing, cashmere, jewelry, home decor and gifts. Be sure to check out their wedding planning and design if you are looking for your dream wedding on Nantucket!

Atlantic (16 Federal Street). Offering high end women’s clothing, unique gifts and art, the Atlantic creates just the perfect place to browse.

Dawn (2 Harbor Square). No Nantucket shopping experience is complete without a visit to Dawn. This spacious boutique and home design store houses over 100 brands that are admired by residents and visitors alike. 

28 Centre Pointe (28 Centre Street). A must-stop shop on the island with clothing, accessories, furniture, games, activities and more!

Erica Wilson (25 Main Street). A beautifully curated collection of women’s (some men’s clothing and accessories. Don’t miss the needlepoint area in the shop as well!

Eye of the Needle (14 Federal Street #3). With locations in Nantucket and Palm Beach,  a ‘go-to’ boutique where there is something for everyone, clothes and accessories. 

Murray’s Toggery Shop (62 Main Street). A Nantucket icon and true tradition. Murray’s is a long running tradition on the island selling Nantucket Reds clothing, men’s &  women’s clothing as well as gifts and accessories.

Remy (2 Old South Wharf). A beautiful collection of women’s clothing tucked into the wharf curated by lovely owner Remy.

The Skinny Dip (23 Old South Wharf). A fashion collective bringing you a range of women’s and men’s clothing, jewelry, bags, and accessories.


ACCESSORIES

Spyder Wright Surf (50 Main Street). Part gentleman’s surf shop and part collection of rare and fine vintage watches from the 1920s to the 1960s; this shop is every man’s dream!

Jewel in the Sea (6 Straight Wharf). Created on the importance of personal touch, this local jeweler creates stunning handmade products that evoke the rich history of Nantucket’s culture. 


HOME

Eleish Van Breems (99 Franklin Street, Westport).  For calming Scandinavian home decor, this is your resource. Owners Rohonda Eleish and Edie Van Breems have curated a sustainable collection from artists and makers from Sweden and beyond of tabletop, decor, and more. 

Bodega (2 Candle Street). Curated goods for the collected home such as furniture, throws, candles, and baskets, and design services.

Nantucket Looms (51 Main Street). Since 1968 Nantucket Looms has offered handmade throws, handwoven gifts, artisanal goods, home decor, art and interior design services

Nomad (17 Centre Street). A curated collection of textures and tactile objects sourced from around the globe.

Res Ipsa (3 India Street). Inspired by the colorful and historically rich kilim rugs of Istanbul, Turkey. Stop by for a beautiful selection of premium handmade travel leisure goods including loafers, backpacks and much more! Don’t miss their Nantucket Red Sneakers, made specifically with the island in mind!


BOOKS

Mitchell’s Book Corner (54 Main Street). A full service, independent bookstore. Mitchell’s prides itself on a long tradition of personalized attention to their customers. In addition to their carefully selected stock of titles in all areas, Mitchell’s offers the most extensive selection of books about Nantucket, whaling and the island’s genealogy.
