Tell us about yourself a little?

A:  I grew up in Denver and am a first-generation college student. I followed a pretty traditional path of academics and I paid my way through undergrad and grad school, so I worked full time while going to school full time.

How did you end up in coaching?

A:  I found myself, like many people do, trying out a job based on the best hourly wage and then climbing that ladder as a default. I always loved working in finance and I have a passion for Wall Street, but as I approached my 40th birthday I started thinking about giving back and adding value to not only my life, but others, and how I wanted to do that. I took one step forward and the Universe took 10. I found myself with a side hustle that grew exponentially. I felt validated and I knew this was my calling.

What was your inspiration behind becoming a coach?

A: I went to meet one of my favorite authors, Augusten Burroughs, and he was talking about finding that “thing” that you want to do more than anything else in the world and the importance of adding value to other people’s lives. Coaching and mentoring have always played an important role in my professional career and it’s something that I really love. I followed that love for learning, thinking I’d never regret learning something new and before I knew it, I went all in and enrolled in coaching courses and a certification program.

Why do you coach?

A:  It satisfies my passion and adds value and inspiration to my clients. The reward is watching my clients find their roots and spread their wings as they achieve a higher transformation for themselves and watching that ripple effect in their lives and networks.

What do you offer as part of your coaching?

A: I offer professional coaching, consulting and Reiki to national and international leaders and high achievers looking to leverage their inflection points whether it be in their personal or professional lives. Helping individuals and small businesses optimize themselves in times of transition is where I thrive. When I’m done with my clients, they are a higher version of themselves.

How have clients described working with you?

A:  Limitless, bold, courageous and free.

Could you explain why they feel this way a little more?

A: What I do with my clients entails taking a fresh look at what my clients want to do to better themselves and their businesses, but even deeper: who do they want to be while they are leveling up? The innovation is in pausing, realigning with value and finding fulfilment in our day to day lives. The best version of ourselves in this moment, is in and of itself, innovative.

What do you want your potential clients to know?

A:  I want to encourage potential clients to feel like they have the power to make real positive change in their lives if they bring me on as a coach. I specialize in coaching individuals who are at an inflection point in their life, whether it’s a change in career, relationship, or lifestyle. I have 20+ years of experience in corporate finance, so I bring a unique value to my clients that coaches typically do not bring. I am a seasoned business professional, so I can offer real, proven guidance that will enable my clients to leapfrog into success.

Why did you join The Scout Guide?

A:  I joined The Scout Guide to be in good company. I love supporting local businesses and this publication is such a great way to tap into different cities and their hidden gems.

Favorite quote to live by?

A: I live more by affirmations than quotes and two of my favorites are: “Worry is a down payment on a problem I may never have” and “Faith and fear are both invisible. I choose to put energy into faith today”
